# Paid-Time-Off

An easy place to store PTO accrual data. Employees have easy access to their bank as they place requests for PTO in the [**Shift On Request**](/basic-terminology/request.md) Interface.

Equina does not yet calculate accrual data and payroll administrators have two options to keep this information up to date:

1. Manual Entry by your payroll administrator
2. Using Equina's API to update accrual data
