# Add Single Shift

This is where you can add individual shifts to the calendar. You have the option of adding an empty shift or select a pre-assigned shift depending on any [**Shift On**](/basic-terminology/request.md) requests placed by your employees. While in this tab, you will also be able to delete each shift individually on the calendar.
