# Offer Shifts

To offer up your shift, first click on a shift on the calendar ("My Schedule" calendar if on desktop or your shift you want to offer from the mobile app's mini calendar). Then click on **Offer.** Customize your message and determine if you want to communicate only to available staff (see the bottom section of this article to explain how you can filter available staff). Then click **Send Offer to ALL.**

You can define "availability" on who you send the offer to. Click on **"Available"** and toggle who you do not want included in the offer:

1. Who is working a shift on this date (Toggling this on will remove whoever is working on the specific shift date)
2. Who is on a PTO assignment (Toggling this on will remove whoever is on PTO (Paid time off, such as vacation or admin date))
3. Who does not have the skill or proficiency to work the shift, as defined by your scheduler
4. Whoever worked overnight

If you are interested in using the advanced administrator options, please contact our support team and we'll explain how to use this feature.

All your team members will get an email, push notification (if enabled), and a new message in the **Equina message center**.

Team members can also see all offered shifts in the **Offered Shifts** calendar or highlight all offers in the **Site Schedule**.

Shift Offer can be ***canceled*** either in the **message center** or in the original **shift change interface.**
