A quick video demonstration is available at the bottom of this article.

Splitting a Shift from Desktop

To split a shift from a desktop computer, go to your "My Schedule" and select your shift that you want to split by clicking on the shift. On the right hand side menu, select "Split Shift". Select your name, the time you want to split the shift, and who you are splitting the shift with. You can either proposed this split to your colleague or submit this split directly to the scheduler.

Once a split request reaches your scheduler, they will get a notification to either approve or deny this shift change. If your scheduler has set an auto-approve mode, then your change will be pre-approved.
