Skills

Skills are attributes that can be assigned to shifts and employees. It helps the scheduling engine match shift requirements to the employees that have the matching skills. Skills are generally used for more advanced and complex schedules. Examples of skills include, Physician, Triage Nurse, Psych Nurse, Pediatrics, PP, Supervisor, Manager etc. Equina's scheduling support team will recommend the best approach for your organization between using skills or spot proficiencies.

To add a skill, click on the green "+" icon:

A new row will appear, give the skill a name and a description. Optionally, you can also provide a skill tag.

To delete a skill, just click on the red "X"
