Groups

Groups organize your shifts into sections or categories. For example, most departments have a group called "Call" which represents the group of shifts that relate to their call schedule. A group can be anything, a location, a department, a time category (i.e. Day, Evening, Night). You have full control on how you define a group.

A group helps to organize your shifts on a calendar view that everyone sees. You can sort the groups on how they appear on your calendar. For example, most groups have "Call" sorted as #1 so that they are the first group of shifts on a calendar that their team and colleagues see.

To access groups, click on Autopilot / Spots / Group as shown in this image:

To add a group, click on the green "plus" sign, as shown in this image:

A new group row will be added for the next highest sort number. Give your group a Group Name. If you want to delete a group or empty row, just click on the red X as shown in the image above. Note, any shifts that are linked to your Group, will un-assign themselves from the group you deleted. Deleting a group will not delete any associated or linked shifts with that group.

Clicking on "Show Spots" will show you all the shifts that are associated with your group.

"Linked Cross-Environmental Groups" is an advanced setting that allows complex organizations to link different scheduling sites together for coordination. Equina's training and support team will help you set this up.

Group Page Navigation

Groups will only show three group rows at a time. This ensures system display speed optimization. To see your other groups, click on "Previous" or "Next" to see your list of groups.
